How To Qualify

Open checking with at least $25 and start direct deposits of at least $750/month within 60 days. Print, sign and bring the Direct Deposit Bonus Coupon to a branch; notify Scient within 60 days after your first direct deposit. Keep checking open for 12 months with at least $750/month in direct deposits ($9,000 total), or the bonus is deducted at closing. To receive the $100 bonus, the minimum direct deposit to the checking account must be in the amount of $750 per month. Member needs to notify the credit union within 60 days after the initial direct deposit has been received by Scient FCU to receive the $100 bonus. The $100 bonus will be added to the member’s savings account within 30 days of notification. Checking account must remain open for 12 months and have a direct deposit with minimum amount of $750/month or the bonus will be debited (subtracted) from the account balance at closing. This fee will be waived for accounts enrolled in eStatements, and for primary account owners under the age of 18 OR over the age of 65 at the time the fee is assessed.
