How To Qualify

APY Details

Checking Plus Interest earns 4.07% APY on balances up to $15,000 when monthly qualifications are met. The portion above $15,000 earns 0.15% interest; the bank quotes a blended APY range of 1.33%–4.07%, depending on balance. Rates may change. Alternatively, Checking Plus Cash earns 5% cash back on up to $200 in debit purchases per qualifying monthly cycle ($120 maximum annually). Qualifying accounts receive up to $10 in ATM fee refunds per cycle.

APY Requirements

Each month, 18 debit card purchases must post and clear; a direct deposit, ACH credit, or automatic ACH payment must post and clear; and you must receive an eStatement. These qualifications apply to Checking Plus monthly rewards, not the $150 opening bonus. Limit one Checking Plus account per primary taxpayer identification number.
