Open SECU Total Checking & Rewards online or in-branch 9/1/26–12/31/26 with code SECU350. Within 90 days of opening, enroll in e-statements and receive at least 2 separate qualifying direct deposits in checking: recurring electronic payroll, pension or Social Security. Person-to-person, bank and other electronic money transfers do not qualify. Minimum opening deposits: $25 checking and $10 share savings. Ineligible if you held SECU checking or received a SECU checking promotional bonus within the last 24 months. Membership and accounts must be in good standing to receive the bonus.

Qualifying Platinum members can earn up to 2.00% APY on the portion of checking balances above $75,000. Interest is calculated as a blended APY, not a flat 2.00% yield on the entire balance. Published APYs are dated 11/01/22 and rates are subject to change.

Platinum requires $100,000 in combined qualifying deposit and loan balances OR $25,000 in one checking account, plus e-statements and full-check direct deposit of at least $500 per month. Eligible direct deposits are recurring payroll, Social Security, or pension deposits into checking held as primary owner. The 2.00% APY tier applies above $75,000 in checking. Accounts must be in good standing; rewards levels reset to Bronze monthly and are calculated on the last day of the month. These ongoing rewards requirements are separate from the welcome bonus requirements.
