High Yield Checking minimum opening deposit is $100, all other checking accounts have a minimum opening deposit of $25.

You must be a Neighborhood Credit Union (NCU) member who has not had a consumer checking account opened within the last 6 months.
Within 90 days of account opening, must have electronic Direct Deposit(s) of your paycheck, pension or government benefits (such as Social Security) from your employer or the government for an aggregate of $2,000 post to the new checking account and 25 or more debit card transactions of $5 or greater.
Paypal, Venmo and other similar payment service providers are not considered qualifying electronic direct deposits.
Account must be open and in good standing with a balance greater than or equal to $25.00 at the time of payment to receive the bonus.
Bonus will be deposited into member’s savings account within 120 days if all criteria met.
Cannot be combined with other offers.
NCU reserves the right to deduct the bonus amount if the account is closed within 12 months of opening.
