How To Qualify

Schedule an appointment with a banker and open a new Key Business Reward Checking account by November 6, 2026, with at least $25. Deposit at least $25,000 within 30 days of opening and maintain an end-of-day balance of at least $25,000 for 90 consecutive days from first reaching that balance. Your business must not have had a KeyBank business checking or savings account in the past 12 months. Keep the account open through bonus payment.

Monthly Fee Details

The $25 monthly Maintenance Service charge is waived for the first two months. Beginning in the third month, it can be avoided if any of the following is met during the statement period: an average ledger balance of $7,500 or more in the Key Business Reward Checking account; combined eligible business account balances (checking, savings, CDs) and/or commercial loan/line balances totaling $20,000 or more; or subscribing to Key Merchant Services.

Open a new Key Business Reward Checking® account by 11/06/2026. Make a total of $25,000 or more in deposits into your new qualifying checking account within 30 days of account opening. Maintain an end-of-day balance of at least $25,000 from the date you first reach this balance in the new checking account for at least 90 consecutive days. If the day you first reach the $25,000 balance falls on a weekend or federal holiday, the 90-day maintenance period will begin on the next business day. If the final day of the 90-day maintenance period falls on a weekend or federal holiday, the previous business day’s end-of-day balance will be used to determine eligibility. If your new checking account balance falls below $25,000 at any time within the 90-day Balance Maintenance period, you will no longer qualify for the promotion. Your bonus will be deposited into your new Key Business Reward Checking® account within 60 days of meeting all requirements. The $1,000 bonus account-opening offer will be reported on Form 1099-INT. Offer is only available if the business entity (SSN/EIN) has not had a KeyBank business checking or KeyBank business savings account during the past 12 months. The minimum opening deposit for a Key Business Reward Checking® account is $25. Account must not be closed at the time of bonus payment.
