To qualify for this promotion, customers must open both a first new eligible checking account and a new eligible savings account on the same day between October 1 and November 15, 2026, and satisfy the applicable checking and savings bonus requirements. Open a first new One Deposit Checking from Citizens®, Citizens EverValue Checking®, Citizens Quest® Checking, Student Checking, or Citizens Private Client® Checking account and a new eligible consumer savings account on the same day between October 1 and November 15, 2026. During each applicable calendar month, have one or more direct deposits totaling $1,000 or more post and clear into the first new checking account and make qualifying fuel purchases as stated below. Get up to $50 per month and $600 total for One Deposit Checking, Citizens EverValue Checking® and Student Checking or up to $100 per month and $1,200 total for Citizens Quest Checking or Citizens Private Client Checking. Make one or more qualifying fuel purchases using the Citizens debit card associated with that first new account. The monthly bonus equals the total amount spent on qualifying fuel purchases that post and clear the account during that month, calculated on a cent-by-cent basis, up to the applicable monthly maximum. If you do not meet both checking requirements in one month, you will not earn a bonus for that month, but you are still eligible to requalify again in later months if you accomplish the required qualifying criteria. Open a new One Deposit Savings, Citizens Quest® Savings, or Citizens Private Client® Savings account and a first new eligible checking account on the same day between October 1 and November 15, 2026. Make one single deposit totaling at least $15,000 in new money into the new savings account no later than 10 business days after account opening from an external funding source. For each calendar month, earn $50 if the new savings account's end-of-day daily balance is $15,000 through $39,999.99, or $150 if that balance is $40,000 or more. The maximum savings bonus is $1,800. The tier is determined separately each month, so you may move between tiers. A new savings account balance below $15,000 earns no bonus for that month but does not prevent qualification in a later month when an eligible balance is restored. Eligibility: Checking and savings accounts must continuously stay open and in good standing throughout the offer period to be considered for a bonus. Ongoing eligibility for the checking bonus and savings bonus is determined separately. New account(s) must have a balance greater than zero and remain open and active throughout the payout date. Each customer may participate in the consumer offer once. If multiple new savings accounts are opened on the same day, only the first savings account to satisfy the qualifying requirements will be eligible to receive the bonus. Qualifying fuel purchases are debit card purchase transactions at merchants classified under merchant category code 5541 or 5542. Eligibility depends on the code submitted with the transaction, not the item purchased; therefore, a nonfuel purchase at an eligible merchant may qualify, while a fuel purchase submitted under a different code determined by a gas merchant may not qualify. Direct deposit is recurring income electronically deposited into your Citizens checking account and may include salary, pension, or other regular income. Electronically deposited funds originating from peer-to-peer money transfer applications, including Zelle®, Cash App®, Venmo®, or PayPal®, are not eligible for direct deposit. Current and prior Citizens savings account ownership is permitted. New money means external funds not currently on deposit with Citizens or Citizens Access®. The primary signer may not be or have been a signer on any other Citizens personal checking accounts within the previous 6 months. This offer may not be combined with another checking or savings offer, as applicable. You must make $5,000 in total deposits to your primary checking each statement period OR maintain a $25,000 monthly combined deposit and investment** balance across your linked accounts to waive the Citizens Quest Checking $25 monthly maintenance fee.
